The day has come…

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls… The day has come for us to move on. WordPress.com has been our blogging home for many months now, but as we feel we have been rapidly expanding lately, we feel that we can not keep up with all the Sony Ericsson stuff, rumours, reviews, codenames and such anymore… at least not here! 😀

As of today, the Unofficial Sony Ericsson Blog will be hosted by no other than the great SE-NSE website and will from now on be found at

The partnership with SE-NSE will bring along many more things than this – I might even say, that this is just the tip of the iceberg, really.

We do of course hope that you’ll join us at the new domain where we’ll be more active and ready with the news than ever – the term “USEB Exclusive” will get a whole new meaning! 🙂

We would like to urge upon all websites linking towards this blog, to change the link to the new website and furthermore give you all a great thanks for taking part of making the blog what it is.

While the new site is ready to show the world, there are still some very minor things needing to be fixed (like files from this blog to the new one), but we don’t count on this taking too long.

Best regards,

The team behind USEB.

  1. I am really worried about this partnership because the se-nse site has been down *a lot* lately. I hope these problems are history.

  2. Don’t be that 🙂

SE-NSE has just swapped server to a new one with 12 times the bandwidth and twice the RAM amount. It’s extremely speedy 🙂

  3. Well it seems to be down for me atm.

  4. huhuhu, congrat michell. i will modify the link. anyway, i think you should put some relevant ads in that blog. 😉

  5. Farhaad,
Thanks for that. I’ll make sure to pass it on and hopefully it shouldn’t take long before we’re back online. It’s probably a server problem, as it’s completely new. The swap was performed only yesterday, so a few problems could occur in the beginning.

Thanks 🙂 Nah, no ads. Don’t like them 🙂

  6. wow, what a great news man

congratulations on this, I tried the new subdomain but still not active 🙂

I think the USEB forum will be canceled and use SE-NSE Forum instead ?

  7. …and only moments after my comment, it has been fixed 🙂

The problem was caused by a missing quotation mark in a plugin – amazing how the tiniest things can mess up something, isn’t it? 🙂

Thanks 🙂 It is active, there was simply this small error. Yeah, the forum has been deactivated (found out, there was no way to delete it) and

  8. Hi all,

Sorry for that initial glitch! Was just putting the finishing touches to our WordPress/IPB integration plugin and as Michell mentioned, I slipped up with a missing quotation-mark!

@pbo, I understand your concerns – it had been a right pain for us staff too. The demand on the old server and our bandwidth provision was just too much, especially during busy times. We’ve scraped every available penny together to ensure our new server is considerably more beefy than our old pile of junk. It should be able to cope with current and future (foreseeable) demand.

Also, I *think* we’ve got all the initial glitches sorted – but if you come across anything, please pop by the blog or forums (or both) and shout at us!

  9. Michell, yeh it’s working now, and my Favorites has been updated 🙂

Ixalon, Yeh I know all these PHP stuff ( missing quotation, missing semicolon, missing bla bla bla ) it’s funny you spend all that time trying to find that problem and opps, just one missed quotation 😀

  10. Good luck! I updated the link 🙂

  11. Michell,

    Keep up the good work.

Your effort and the SE-NSE team should be complimented and those “in the power” must realise by now that there are millions of SE & UIQ diehard fans out there.

    To success!

  12. Good to see your site is growing, Michell. Has “Update on the questions to Mr Komiyama” ()https://sonyericssonblog.wordpress.com/2007/12/03/update-on-the-questions-to-mr-komiyama/
been ported yet? I check it periodically for responses but can’t seem to find the new location. Could you please post a link?
