Update on the questions to Mr Komiyama

I got a reply back from Sony Ericsson earlier today about the questions for Mr Komiyama. It appears that he is visiting all the Sony Ericsson offices and generally meeting the employees around the world. As said this is a priority for them – making sure he understands Sony Ericsson, what it stands for, operations, customers, etc.

Once he had any clarity on a time, he’d let me know. So please be patient – it might take some time, but you really can’t blame Mr Komiyama for wanting to meet the employees.

  1. Here’s hoping that Mr Komiyama and his team are researching all the issues that our questions brought up…and that things will change for the better at SE!

  2. I like the idea of a boss who takes the trouble to see what’s happening ‘on the ground’ in his company.

I hope he has the same attitude towards his customers as towards his employees !

Thanks for keeping us updated Michell.

  3. Yep, that’s definitely nice.

However Miles Flint did the same when he was about to retire – visit the SE employees and such.

  4. #1 Answering those questions will also help him understand what SE is all about.

#2 Is he not expected to finish all those visits before he become the boss, so that he can straightly get into action

#3 SE has one of the most fanatic fan base, hope he understands it. Anything less than innovation and great aesthetics is not welcome here.

  5. Season’s Greetings to all.

Has SE provided any update on when we should expect their response to our questions?

    Thanks!
